Participants: All kindergarten through 5th grade artists attending public and private Tennessee schools are welcome to submit their work! 

Submission fee: FREE for ALL TAEA Members; $5 per entry for non-members

Exhibition Information: The Tennessee State Museum will host a reception and exhibition of winning work in March of 2026. They also will feature a virtual exhibition on their website. 

Best in Show and first place artworks from each grade level will be exhibited at the “Best of the Best” statewide exhibit at the Tennessee Arts Academy in July 2026.

2026 Dates to Remember:  

• Submissions due January 23 

• Notifications sent February 7 

• Selected artwork shipped or delivered to TDOE Fine Arts Director (Murfreesboro, TN) by February 26 

• Reception March 21

• Exhibition through May 

• Information about artwork pick-up/return shared with teachers in May
