LEARNING
TAEA provides professional development opportunities in order to increase the support and growth of our members in becoming more effective educators, leaders, and advocates for art education.
COMMUNITY
TAEA fosters a cohesive professional community through enhanced communication and interaction among art educators, artists, visual arts institutions, and other stakeholders
ADVOCACY
TAEA advocates a sequential K-12 visual arts program taught by highly qualified and licensed visual arts educators. TAEA effectively communicates the importance of student learning and lifelong learning in the visual arts to stakeholders, including legislators, administrators, and community members.
RESEARCH & KNOWLEDGE
TAEA provides access to programs, services, publications, grant opportunities and resources that inform practice in quality visual arts education and the professional development of its membership in accordance with current and emerging research.
ORGANIZATIONAL VIBRANCY
